He was separated from his family and in order to find it, he must leave the metropolis. There is also a lonely cat, which is the main character of the game. However, in the city that is the place of action live not only synthetics. Our place has been taken by robots, by the way, which do not differ in behavior from typical humans. The story presented in Stray takes place in a cyberpunk world, where humanity is not even a memory anymore.
